Sattva is the energy of harmony and clarity.
The Sattvic diet contributes to mental happiness and includes pure foods that are delicious, healthy, and nourishing for the mind.
Energy and Joy
Sattva is one of the three mental energies or gunas. A Sattvic diet consists of pure foods that promote health, energy, joy, peace, and mental clarity.
Our mind and body are deeply influenced by what we eat and drink. When you begin following a Sattvic diet, the positive experience of Sattva will refine your tastes and food choices over time.
A Sattvic meal is prepared using natural and fresh ingredients. It is freshly cooked, consumed in moderation, and eaten while seated and in a calm state. It is easily digestible and imparts a sense of lightness and vitality.
The guidelines provided on this page will help you make informed decisions about your diet. Remember, changes should be made gradually but consistently.
